If you are going to be a DJ, a host, or an event organizer, you need to use Firestorm or some other viewer that has the same kind of functionality that the contact sets have in FS. If I want club notices I will join club groups and see the chat and the group notices for when I have time to go to clubs, events, or fancy dress balls. I get some important TPs and invites that relate to my businesses and other things. and I told them, no way! I am not changing my settings because someone else is too lazy to change theirs. I talked to someone I know casually about this and they said to me, "Oh! You can turn off all teleport request and." la de da de dah. (*grins*) I really do not have the time to run to every event everyone sends me an invite to.
Me, I am always very busy doing things, creating and designing, managing multiple businesses, spending time with the wife and kid and our cats and also exploring, fishing, helping others, and sometimes even writing the occasional blog entry. You will save the loss of many casual friends and some potential good long term friends. You simply create one contact set for people to invite to your events and leave everyone else alone. If you are one of those "inviters" you need to seriously think about using Firestorm and the Firestorm Contact Sets.
